Richiesta di soluzione in vetro di quarzo
Product Overview
Ce-Doped Quartz Tubes are made from high-purity fused silica containing trace amounts of cerium oxide (CeO₂). The addition of cerium ions allows the material to effectively absorb harmful ultraviolet radiation while maintaining high transmission in visible and infrared wavelengths. These tubes provide excellent UV-blocking performance, ideal for protecting light sources, equipment, and users from UV exposure.
Material Properties
Composition: High-purity fused silica doped with cerium oxide (CeO₂)
UV Absorption: Blocks all UV-B and UV-C radiation (200–320 nm)
Visible & IR Transmission: High transmittance with excellent optical clarity
Softening Point: Around 50 °C lower than standard clear quartz
Thermal Performance: Strong thermal shock resistance and excellent infrared transmittance
Appearance: Slightly yellow or pale violet hue, typical of cerium-doped quartz
Applications
Ce-doped quartz tubes are widely used where UV protection and heat resistance are required, such as:
Outer tubes for automotive headlamps and projector lighting
Infrared heating elements and carbon fiber heaters
Halogen lamps, industrial drying systems, and IR emitters
Protective sleeves for UV-sensitive optical and medical instruments
High-end lighting and photonic applications requiring UV shielding
Customization & Supply
We maintain a wide inventory of standard sizes and also support full customization according to customer drawings or specifications.
Custom options include Outer Diameter (OD), Inner Diameter (ID), Wall Thickness (WT), and Length — all precisely fabricated to meet engineering requirements.
